Taste of Dublin

Taste of Dublin

We had a wonderful time at our first Taste of Dublin. We had won our stand through the Bank of Ireland Taste of Success competition - this involved writing an initial pitch and Conor and Viki travelling to Dublin to present it to the judges at Taste 2015! As part of our prize we won our stand design, the stand itself and all the costs that go with this, this was such a bonus as the expense of these smaller things like fridges are often what hold us back. Our cheese platters - with a Vintage, Mild, Organic Blue and Brie, along with some Ballymaloe Relish and Sheridans crackers were a raging success, as were our cheese hats that people were lining up to take pictures in (see Teresa modelling our top hat in the picture above).

Some of our favourite stands at Taste included our friends O Donnells (not just because we get free crisps), Ballymaloe- because we love the relish so much and always forget they have so many other great flavours until we taste them at shows, the Cupcake Blokes amazing beer cupcakes, Black Castle and their fabulous grown up soft drinks- who were the best neighbours over the weekend, The Chophouse and their amazing steak and chips and Culcow for fab ice cream- as you can tell there is no one we really didnt like!
